Honoring Josefien Stoppelenburg and Stephen Alltop 

This year’s honorees Josefien Stoppelenburg and Stephen Alltop are a powerhouse musical couple familiar to audiences around the Chicago area. Josefien has performed around the world, bringing her glittering soprano and memorable interpretations to diverse repertoire ranging from Bach to Stacy Garrop. Stephen’s bravura technique and knowledge inform his performances on harpsichord, organ, and as a conductor with chamber ensembles, orchestras, choral groups, and opera companies of all sizes. Rembrandt Chamber Musicians are fortunate to have had these two artists as collaborators for many seasons, and we are please to salute their incomparable personal and artistic contributions.
