Straight from our own homes and hearts, Rembrandt celebrates the beauty of spring with an intimate, virtual “house concert” to benefit Rembrandt Chamber Musicians.
Hosted by Steve Robinson, former general manager of WFMT, join us on May 16 at 4:00 p.m. CDT to hear the world premiere recording of one of Rembrandt’s favorite guest artists, pianist Jeannie Yu, as she performs Mozart’s Piano Sonata no. 18 in D Major, K.576.
You’ll also hear from Rembrandt’s founders Robert and Sandra Morgan, and some of Steve Robinson’s favorite selections from our 30-year archive of uplifting, glorious performances from the chamber repertoire!
We hope you can join us to enjoy and support Rembrandt’s musicians during this challenging time.
WFMT, founded in 1951, is one of the most respected classical music stations in the U.S. While general manager, Steve Robinson created many new programs, including “Introductions”—the only locally produced radio series devoted to presenting talented pre-college instrumentalists and ensembles, and "Exploring Music with Bill McGlaughlin" - a daily radio series heard by over 400,000 people each week in the U.S. and around the world.
