As the buds begin to blossom and the weather begins to warm, a breath of French style greets fans of Rembrandt Chamber Musicians. Flanking a quintessential work by Mozart are two works by masters whose compositions embody gallic style and flair, in a variety of combinations of winds, strings and piano.
DURUFLE: Prelude, Recitatif, and Variations for flute, viola, and piano
MOZART: Quintet for oboe, violin, 2 violas, and piano
CHAUSSON: Quartet for piano and strings
These concerts are partially supported by a grant from the Illinois Arts Council, a state agency.
